Audi Q3: Side Air Intake Trim, Removing and Installing, Audi RS Q3 through MY 2014

Removing

- Left: remove the front bumper cover. Refer to → Chapter "Bumper Cover, Removing and Installing".

- Right: remove the front wheel housing liner and wheel spoiler. Refer to → Chapter "Front Wheel Housing Liner, Removing and Installing".

- Carefully remove the clips -arrows- from the guide tab with a screwdriver.

- Release the upper and lower catches -2- to remove the cover -1- from the bumper cover.

- Carefully remove the clips -arrows- from the guide tab with a screwdriver.

- Remove the trim -1- forward from the bumper cover -2-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Left: install the front bumper cover. Refer to → Chapter "Bumper Cover, Removing and Installing".

- Right: install the front wheel housing liner and wheel spoiler. Refer to → Chapter "Front Wheel Housing Liner, Removing and Installing".

Side Air Intake Trim, Removing and Installing, Audi RS Q3 from MY 2015

Removing

Left:

- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to → Chapter "Bumper Cover, Removing and Installing".

Right:

- Remove the front wheel housing liner and wheel spoiler. Refer to → Chapter "Front Wheel Housing Liner, Removing and Installing".

- Loosen the wheel cover near the bumper cover. Refer to → Chapter "Front Wheel Cover, Removing and Installing".

Continuation for all:

- Remove the expanding rivets -1-.

- Release the retainers -arrows- and remove the cover -2- from the bumper cover at the same time.

- Open the retainers -arrows-.

- Remove the trim -1- forward from the bumper cover -2-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Left: install the front bumper cover. Refer to → Chapter "Bumper Cover, Removing and Installing".

- Right: install the front wheel housing liner and wheel spoiler. Refer to → Chapter "Front Wheel Housing Liner, Removing and Installing".

Impact Guard, Removing and Installing, Audi Q3 Offroad

Removing

- Remove the lower center grille. Refer to → Chapter "Lower Center Grille, Removing and Installing, Audi RS Q3" and → Chapter "Radiator Grille, Removing and Installing, Audi Q3 Offroad/S-line".

- Bent the tabs -1, 2 and 3- straight and remove the impact guard -5- forward from the bumper cover -4-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the radiator grille. Refer to → Chapter "Radiator Grille, Removing and Installing, Audi Q3 Offroad/S-line".
