1 - Screw

  • 1.5 Nm

2 - Left Footwell Vent Air Guide - Driver Side

  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Driver Side Footwell Vent, Removing and Installing".

3 - Air Guide

  • To the defroster vents
  • If there is a crushed foam seal, the air routing to the windshield or defroster vents is uneven or insufficient
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Windshield, Defroster Vent Air Guide, Removing and Installing".

4 - Screw

  • 1.5 Nm
  • Quantity: 6

5 - Instrument Panel

  • With an air guide to the defroster vents and the "indirect ventilation" vent
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Instrument Panel; Instrument Panel, Removing and Installing.

6 - Air Guide

  • To the defroster vents
  • Is a component of the instrument panel and cannot be replaced separately
  • Instrument panel removing and installing. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Instrument Panel; Instrument Panel, Removing and Installing.

7 - Air Guide

  • To the instrument panel vents
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Instrument Panel Vent Air Guide, Removing and Installing".

8 - Expanding Clip

9 - Center Instrument Panel Air Guide Vent

  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Center Instrument Panel Vent Air Guide, Removing and Installing".

10 - A/C Unit (Heater)

  • Air intake and air vent of the A/C unit (heater). Refer to → Chapter "Overview - Air Distribution Housing Doors and Partitions".
  • There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Catalog.
  • Depending on vehicle equipment level with or without the Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Heater and A/C Unit, Removing and Installing".

11 - Air Duct for Glove Compartment Cooling

  • Only with an automatic climate control system
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Air Guide for Glove Compartment Cooling, Removing and Installing".

12 - Screw

  • 1.5 Nm

13 - Right Footwell Vent Air Guide - Front Passenger Side

  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Front Passenger Side Footwell Vent, Removing and Installing".

1 - Left Rear Footwell Vent Air Guide

  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Rear Footwell Vent, Removing and Installing".

2 - Left Air Guide Channel

  • For the rear footwell vent
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Air Guide Channel for Rear Footwell Vent, Removing and Installing".

3 - Sealing Plug

  • Depending on the vehicle equipment level

  Note

For vehicles with a manual climate control system (or with a heater without an A/C system), the openings in the Air Conditioning (A/C) unit are sealed either permanently or with plugs.

4 - A/C Unit (Heater)

  • Air intake and air vent of the A/C unit (heater). Refer to → Chapter "Overview - Air Distribution Housing Doors and Partitions".
  • There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Catalog.
  • Depending on vehicle equipment level with or without the Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Heater and A/C Unit, Removing and Installing".

5 - Right Air Guide Channel

  • For the rear footwell vent
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Air Guide Channel for Rear Footwell Vent, Removing and Installing".

6 - Right Rear Footwell Vent Air Guide

  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Rear Footwell Vent, Removing and Installing".

7 - Air Guide for the Rear Vent

  • Depending on vehicle equipment; currently only present on vehicles with an automatic climate control system
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Rear Vent Air Guide, Removing and Installing, Vehicles with Automatic Climate Control System".

8 - Rear Air Guide Channel

  • Depending on vehicle equipment; currently only present on vehicles with an automatic climate control system
  • Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Rear Air Guide Channel, Removing and Installing, Vehicles with Automatic Climate Control System".
