Evaporator, Removing and Installing
Removing
- Removing the air distribution housing. Refer to
→ Chapter "Air Distribution Housing, Removing and Installing".
- Remove the spacer foam -6-.
- Remove the bolts -1
Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-, Checking
Note
An auxiliary heater is currently installed in vehicles with
a TDI engine. After leaving the heater core for the heater/A/C
unit, the air is supplied with heat energy on this systSEE MORE:

Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit -VAS5234-
Sealing plugs from Repair Kit -1H0 698 311 A-
Removing
- Remove the brake fluid reservoir, refer to
→ Chapter "Brake Fluid Reservoir, Removing and Installing".
- Disconnect the
CV Joint, Servicing, Drive Axle with CV Joint, Inserted with Inner Splines

Torque Wrench 1331 5-50Nm -VAG1331-
Clamping Pliers -VAG1682A-
Press Piece - Multiple Use -VW447H-
Copper or Brass Drift, commercially available
Three arm extractor, for example the Puller - Kukko 3 Jaw
