Evaporator, Removing and Installing
Removing
- Removing the air distribution housing. Refer to
→ Chapter "Air Distribution Housing, Removing and Installing".
- Remove the spacer foam -6-.
- Remove the bolts -1
Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-, Checking
Note
An auxiliary heater is currently installed in vehicles with
a TDI engine. After leaving the heater core for the heater/A/C
unit, the air is supplied with heat energy on this systSEE MORE:

Removing
- Left: remove the front bumper cover. Refer to
→ Chapter "Bumper Cover, Removing and Installing".
- Right: remove the front wheel housing liner and wheel
spoiler. Refer to
→ Chapter "Front Wheel Housing Liner, Removing and Installing".
- Carefully remov
Level Control System Sensor

A replacement Left Front Level Control System Sensor -G78- and Right
Front Level Control Sensor -G289- only comes complete with the coupling
rod and the upper and lower retaining plate.
