General Information
Before beginning balancing, the following requirements must
be fulfilled.
Tire inflation pressure must be OK.
The tire tread must not be worn down on one side and should
be at least 4 mm dee

Caution
For the balancing, the wheels of the tractive axle
are set upon the turntable sensors, for example, front
wheels for Front Wheel Drive (FWD) and all 4 wheels for
All Wheel Dri
Vehicle Pulls to One Side
General Information
Perform a road test to determine if a vehicle pulls to one
side and if so, when and to which side. If the vehicle pulls to
one side, see procedure

Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit -VAS5234-
Sealing plugs from Repair Kit -1H0 698 311 A-
Removing
- Remove the brake fluid reservoir, refer to
→ Chapter "Brake Fluid Reservoir, Removing and Installing".
- Disconnect the
Wheel Bearing Unit, Removing and Installing
Special tools and workshop equipment
required
Torque Wrench 1332 40-200Nm -VAG1332-
Removing
- Loosen the drive axle threaded connection on the wheel side.
Refer to
→ Chapter "Drive Axle Threaded Connection, Loosening and
Tightening".
- If installed, remove the nut
