1 - Bolt

• 8 Nm
• Quantity: 2
• Replace
• Install with locking compound. Refer to the Parts Catalog for the locking compound.

2 - Child Seat Anchor

• passenger seat only
• Bolted with the seat pan
• Check after an accident. Refer to → Chapter "Child Seat Anchors, Checking After a Collision".
• Replace damaged or deformed child seat anchor
• Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Front Child Seat Anchor, Removing and Installing".

3 - Bolt

• 8 Nm
• Quantity: 4
• Replace
• Install with locking compound. Refer to the Parts Catalog for the locking compound.

4 - Retaining Plate

• Passenger seat only
• Bolted with the seat pan
• Check after an accident. Refer to → Chapter "Child Seat Anchors, Checking After a Collision".
• Replace if damaged
• Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Front Child Seat Anchor Retaining Plate, Removing and Installing".

5 - Spring Nut

• Quantity: 4
• Inserted in the seat pan
• Replace any damaged or deformed threaded clips

6 - Seat Pan

7 - Bolt

• 18 Nm

8 - Reinforcement

• Only on power seats
• Only located on the sill panel side of the seat
• Check after an accident. Refer to → Chapter "Child Seat Anchors, Checking After a Collision".
• Replace if damaged
• Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Front Child Seat Anchor Reinforcement, Removing and Installing".

9 - Nut

• 18 Nm

• Must be secure on the anchor

2 - Cover

• For child seat anchor
• Quantity: 4
• Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Child Seat Anchor Guide, Removing and Installing, Rear".
• Must be secure on the anchor

3 - Child Seat Anchor

• Quantity: 4
• Welded to the floor panel.

2 - Center Child Seat Anchor

• Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Rear Child Seat Anchor, Removing and Installing".

3 - Washer

4 - Rear Seat Backrest

5 - Cover

• Engage in the child seat anchor and press on it until it engages audibly.

6 - Rear Seat Backrest

7 - Cover

• Engage in the child seat anchor and press on it until it engages audibly.

8 - Bolt

• 8 Nm

9 - Outer Child Seat Anchor

• Quantity: 2
• Removing and installing. Refer to → Chapter "Rear Child Seat Anchor, Removing and Installing".

Front Child Seat Anchor, Removing and Installing

Removing

- Move the front passenger seat all the way forward and then raise it all the way up.

- Remove the bolts -2- and -3-.

- Remove the child seat anchor -1- rearward from the seat pan.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Front Child Seat Anchor Retaining Plate, Removing and Installing

Removing

- Remove the front seat child seat anchor. Refer to → Chapter "Front Child Seat Anchor, Removing and Installing".

- Remove the bolts -2, 3, 4 and 5-.

- Remove the retaining plate -1- for the child seat anchor from the seat pan.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Front Child Seat Anchor Reinforcement, Removing and Installing

Removing

- Move the front passenger seat all the way forward and then raise it all the way up.

- Remove the seat side sill panel trim. Refer to → Chapter "Seat Side Trim on Sill Panel Side, Removing and Installing, Power Front Seat".

- Remove the bolt -2- and counterhold the nut -3-.

- Remove the child seat anchor reinforcement -1- inward.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Rear Child Seat Anchor, Removing and Installing

Child Seat Anchor Guide, Removing and Installing, Rear

Removing

- Unclip the child seat anchor cover -1- from the anchor -arrow- and remove.

- Push the child seat anchor guide -1-, corresponding to cut-out, downward and disengage it from the anchor -2-.

- Remove the child seat anchor guide forward -arrow-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

• Trim Removal Wedge -3409-

Removing

- Fold the rear seat backrest forward.

- Carefully unclip the cover -3- using the Trim Removal Wedge -3409- from the child seat anchor -arrow-.

- Remove the bolt -1- and remove the child seat anchor -2- from the rear seat backrest.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

• Trim Removal Wedge -3409-

Removing

- Fold the rear seat backrest forward.

- Carefully unclip the cover -3- using the Trim Removal Wedge -3409- from the child seat anchor -arrow A-.

- Disengage the child seat anchor cover -arrow B- and remove.

- Remove the bolt -1- and remove the child seat anchor -2- from the rear seat backrest.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
